We went on a Sunday and thought it would be packed. There were lots of people, but the wait lines go pretty fast and there was always plenty of tubes. The slides were great for all ages. My husband and I love thrill rides and these rides gave us a good scream or two!

Today was the first day that my family and I went to this water park! It is an awesome water park! Wish I could go here everyday! Hope to come back next year! The water coaster was a blast! Love this water park lots! It deserves 10 stars!!

I have to admit it's been almost 10 years since I've been here despite living in the area... I was so pleasantly surprised. Not only were the attractions awesome, but there were so many of them!!! The staff was friendly and the lines were reasonable even on a beautiful weekend. One of my favorite things is the food and drink prices are VERY reasonable. Something that's so uncommon in a theme park. It was so refreshing to be able to enjoy their good drinks and food at a reasonable price. They even served a great local beer from Waterloo's Lark Brewing who made them a custom beer which was super fun! We ended up going two days in a row because we left so satisfied. Thank you Lost Island. You made a very happy repeat costumer.

We did order a couple of adult beverages, but I don't think there was any liquor in them- or very very little. Just a little disappointed in the drinks available. I understand it's a family place, but sometimes us adults just need a mixed drink.

My wife and I spent the day with her family during their family vacation. We tried to find a place about halfway between where they were camping and were we live and this was the place. Lost Island is about a 2 hour drive for me but I have to say it was well worth the drive. I was shocked how short some of the lines were which let us go on each slide multiple times, and there wasn't any that we didn't enjoy. Of course I can't don't know the names of them but the blue and white one with the big funnel. I had never heard audible warnings for a water slide before. My wife and I have both deemed that one as our favorite and it got a lot of yells and laughter out of us. We also really enjoyed the one that we just call the toilet bowl (orange and white). I think I must have gone around it 4-5 times before finally going out the bottom (tube did get stuck at one point and I had to kind of pull myself along). We really enjoyed that you are able to access the lockers without having to pay for it again when you are done to relock your belongings as I have seen in other parks. We are also shocked by the more reasonable prices for food, I normally expect to pay through the nose when at any type of park and these prices weren't too much higher than what we would normally pay going out to fast food. Even the items in the gift shop were not badly priced. My father-in-law had forgotten the shirt that he had to help prevent sunburn. He went over to the gift shop expecting to pay $30+ for a shirt and got one for $12. My wife and I are already thinking that next year we need to do a short weekend trip and return.

I do suggest wearing swim shoes around the place. The ground gets pretty hot and could hurt little kids. Even us adults said it was too hot!

I have not been to LI since my college days. The water park was a great time then and has only improved with time. Going yesterday with my husband and two small boys was a much different experience but no less wonderful. The park was clean, guards attentive, food reasonably priced and tasty, friendly staff and numerous adventures to enjoy. Thanks Lost Island for a great day!

Overall, very pleased with our first experience here. We will definitely be back when we road trip again.
