VERY disappointed. Will not return. Tuesday May 9th, I received an email with options for sending packages for Mother's Day. One option was 3 day ground if sent that day. I called at 4 p.m. and was assured if I brought a package ready to send by 6:30 p.m. the package would go out that day. Arrived at 6:10 p.m. - VERY HOT in store so people were actually sweating. UPS truck driver arrived as my package was being processed. First, I was told there was only ONE option to deliver ground - NEXT day and the cost was nearly double the cost of the 3 Day option I had expected. Second, although the woman, who was working alone and she definitely needed another helper, was nice, AFTER I paid, she informed me the package wouldn't arrive until the next day. Had I known, I would have paid less and used USPS Priority and the package would have arrived on time anyway. Also, she dropped a breakable vase that fortunately didn't break, that was in one of many piles of orders to be packed and shipped the next day. It was quite a mess. Another reason I would not trust this facility with my items. No need for management to reply. I won't be back but maybe you can work on things for others.
The delivery driver lied about returning to my residence a second time and instead just left the package at this store. When I checked the tracking on my package, I saw that it was at this facility and scheduled to be returned to sender that day. I called and, thankfully, the package was still there. The young woman I spoke to chided me, saying, "Just for future reference, we send back packages after seven days." I explained that the delivery driver never returned, and that I wasn't aware it had been sitting at the location for that long. She replied, "Oh, well, we don't have any control over the delivery drivers." When I asked about who to contact about the delivery driver, she kind of hesitated before giving me the number of the facility. She was very short with me, and she didn't apologize for my trouble or tell me to have a nice day or anything before hanging up other than just "Bye." When I went in to pick up my package, the gentleman who helped me was fast, efficient, and polite, and he is the reason why this is a 2-star review instead of 1.
Was not pleased with my experience. I tried to ship bullet tips (just the lead) to a friend who also enjoys shooting sports. When I told them it was bullet tips they were concerned (understandably so) but when I showed and explained to them it was just lead and not hazardous at all they said "we don't ship anything that can be used in a firearm including parts, regardless if they are hazardous" this from the managers mouth. He continued to explain they are a privately owned store (not actually a UPS store) and have the right to refuse shipment that UPS would otherwise gladly do. I suspect being privately owned is also the reason they appear high priced than actual UPS rates. Obviously from my rating I will not b going back.
The store manager, Kevin Veatch, was awesome. I don't ship things very often, so he was really helpful. I was able to access my email from a computer in his store to print a shipping label from the company I was sending to. This saved me a significant amount of money. Great service Kevin!
I am pregnant and had a stroller/carseat to return and I can't lift it. I went in and asked for help and they were so helpful. They got a dolly and lifted it. I didn't need to do anything at all.
