Great outdoor space overlooking the Cedar River. There is a fountain park for kids so bring extra clothes and a towel. Music can be heard all around the Amphitheater, not just in the Amphitheater which is nice because you can sit on the grass and still be a part of the show. It does seem difficult for the handicap to get to the actual amphitheater due to parking and ramp limitation. I would like to see more events there and/or better publicized.
Awesome place! Really well developed and super fun during the summer. The splash pad attracts families every nice day of the year!
One of my favorite places in Waterloo. This has really added to downtown life and the community overall. And there's potential for even more (e.g., bringing national musicians).
We came mostly for the splash pad. Parents of young children should be made aware that the splash pad is not entirely enclosed.
