Me & Buddy both travel a lot so I don't want one bad experience to cause your location a bad review Steve the guy who has sent a response to address this issue that was very nice of you and yes we will return one day only this time we know just ask for that younger guy in the repair bays he was very kind & didn't show he lack professionalism but the rest of my experience was great there
being this was our 2nd time our truck broke down in two weeks

your staff was nice except that one repair guy in the back area were repairs are made maybe he just had a bad day but buddy removed his review & seeing your online comments of your standards Steve I will return one day only this time i will ask for the other guy in back he was more helpful to us & our truck runs fine & we did make it on time to see our kids & yes Steve our truck runs fine
Well thanks to you all and that one guy in back was of course very very rude but everyone else was nice and I don't want to label this entire location as racist but that guy sure did make it clear he didn't really want to talk to me maybe it was I'm a female driver or because I'm Mexican so my boyfriend buddy of course will defend me maybe he was wrong to label this location that way boldly however I talk him into removing his bad review so
maybe he totally blew us off because of a bad day or maybe he didn't want to work who knows

I have never liked this company. Throughout the years I have brought my 32 trucks to a few of Thompson truck and trailer locations. Almost evertime I brought a truck to any of their locations, it too long, didn't have the part, wrong diagnosis, over billed and no communication AT ALL. I only went there if it was last resort. But I have now been going to the Waterloo location exclusively for the past 4 months now, only because of the manager Amanda. She is very good at her job. I schedule my truck, when I get there it's pulled in on time. When I get a quote it is fair and accurate. When she tells me a day it's going to be done, it's done that day and if something changes she call and let's me know. She communicates with me very good and is very friendly. If my company was not over a 60 miles away I would bring all my trucks there. The other locations still seem to fall very short of my expectations. They don't value my down time at all and I feel like they look at me as a walking check book! This company is definitely lacking a core valued upper management and it shows throughout the company, however if you have to goto one of their locations, I strongly recommend to goto Waterloo, you will get a fair price and very good customer service. If you see this Amanda, you do a great job! Keep it up.

Run by a bunch of idiots. They can only keep hiring and firing for so long before they need to look at themselves in the eyes and realize they're the real problem.
we were just scared our truck would not make it to our hometime to see our kids so yes we did ask questions just to be sure this repair will solve our issues / that guy in back didn't care to answer us at all he even frown to show total unhappiness to deal with us
