The doctors at convenient care rush through their patients just to get a paycheck. If he had taken the time to just order a couple tests I would still had to have my appendix removed but I wouldn't have had to endure the excruciating pain that lead up to that.
Later that night I was having SEVERE stomach pains. I couldn't stand it. I went to the emergency room at Allen. They drew some blood to run tests and did a CT scan. 2 simple tests revealed I had appendicitis. I had to be taken upstairs and have my appendix removed.
I went into convenient care a couple days ago. I saw Dr. Rafferty. I was having pretty significant stomach pains. After they took my temp, blood pressure, etc Dr Rafferty came in. He spent MAYBE 5 minutes with me. Told me I had the stomach flu and sent me home.
They get you through the system pretty quick, but I've had some rude lady's upfront at check in. Could use 2 or 3 doctors down there though the waiting room gets cramped a bit an the wait could take up to 40 mins every once in a while.
You will spend 15 minutes in the waiting room, 5 minutes talking to the nurse and about 2 minutes with the doctor as they prescribe the first thing that comes to mind and send you back at the door. Waste of time.
