Love this place!! I had and have kids attending UNI and stopped on a whim one visit. We have been coming back ever since. Great food, great service, generous portions at reasonable prices. I always recommend this place to anyone who will be in the area. We look forward to our next time here.
Stopped in after seeing hiway sign, very pleased with our choice. Food is home made, including the salad dressings. Clean, with friendly service and great food.
Ordinarily we can count on a really good, consistant dinner. The broasted chicken is our go-to comfort food, along with their wonderful sweet potato side dish. At a recent evening meal, the diner had been extraordinarily busy. Wait staff was over extended and clearly tired. Our meal was not the quality they are known for. The chicken was overcooked. The onion rings were also overcooked. They tasted burned, greasy, and salty. Will we go back? Yes! It just happened to be really busy. I know our next meal at the diner will be up to their usual quality.
Great comfort food. Good portions. Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Home made dressings are awesome. Suggestions: add some veggies to the salad (tomato, cucumber etc...) and make bleu cheese dressing.
